Professional Development Programs

We offer our staff more than a job; we provide real-world career pathways with opportunities to grow, learn and succeed.

Axiom Precision Manufacturing employees are continuously exposed to new professional development opportunities, both internally and externally, to assure every team member reaches the highest standards of success in their role. 

Some of our key professional development opportunities include refresher courses, project management workshops, mentorship programs and gaining tertiary qualifications.

Apprenticeship Programs

Axiom Precision Manufacturing has a dedicated Apprenticeship program. With our very own in-house Apprentice Master, we offer a foundation for school-based, full-time and adult apprentices to build their skills. 

Our Apprentices study and work 4 years full time (or equivalent) and on successful completion obtain a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical).

Apprentices complete a combination of study at TAFE SA Regency, and work at our Wingfield facility to complete their training contract and certificate qualifications.

Work Experience Programs

Axiom Precision Manufacturing offers opportunities to year 11 and 12 high school students to complete work experience at our facility in Wingfield. This gives students an opportunity to gain an insight into today’s workforce contexts and discover how manufacturing and mechanical engineering can be a viable and rewarding career path. 

For some of our work experience students, this program has led to an offer to continue their working relationship with us as an Apprentice.

High School Collaborations

We work closely with Adelaide trade schools, high school VET personnel and Government student pathways to offer possibilities for students to get a taste of the Manufacturing Industry by frequently offering facility tours, career and industry presentations in addition to our Work Experience program.
